Music for a Stormy Night

For me, nothing suits better  than the just about perfect playlist to write-up your mood for the day. To start your day with your favourite tea and your personal team song  playing all around your house, or on the way for work. Because lets face it, music is pretty darn awesome.

We are currently having quite of a storm in Israel. True, it’s probably just of a flicker of what the rest of the world is having, but this is pretty much what the winter is like here. A lot of show and no snow. But I still decided a new playlist is probably due. Now I don’t know about you but I like me some quite soothing music inside to set the mood, some even say depressing, but I thought I’d share my final creation with all you lovely people, just in case you like the cold as much as I do. Hope you’ll like it 🙂

Ray LaMontagne All The Wild Horses
Juliana – Alone Tonight
Foy Vance – Be the Song
Daniela Andrade – Dark Passenger
Damien Rice – Eskimo – not as hidden track
Tori Amos – Famous Blue Raincoat
Joe Purdy – Far Away Blues
Bon Iver – Flume
Phillip Phillips – Hazel
Gabrielle Aplin – Home – The Rak Sessions
Antony & The Johnsons – Hope There’s Someone
The Fray – Hundred
Daughter – Landfill
Kina Grannis – Little Worrier
Gregory Alan Isakov – Master & A Hound
Asaf Avidan – Of Scorpions & Bells
Passenger – Rainbows
Priscilla Ahn – Remember How I Broke Your Heart
Vance Joy – Riptide – Live From Spotify London
Nina Nesbitt – Spiders
The Frames – Star, Star
Glen Hansard – Step out of the Shadows
Iron & Wine – Such Great Heights

There you have it! One set of really nice mellow songs – 30 to be exact. Each one chosen particularly chosen to set your wintery mood on. If you want to add another song to the list please comment down below, I’d love to hear your suggestions!
